Defect Tracking: Lean principles for getting the right data at the right time

Filed under: CMMI And Agile — pemcmahon @ 5:28 pm

A few weeks ago I was asked by Yvette Francino, Site Editor for SearchSoftwareQuality for my opinion on how to decide the right time to collect defect data.  I gave her a short answer from the CMMI, Agile and Lean perspective.  She then asked if I would expland on my answer in a short article.  That article is titled,  “Defect tracking: Lean principles for getting the right data at the right time,” and is featured today in SearchSoftwareQuality, http://searchsoftwarequality.techtarget.com/tip/Defect-tracking-Lean-principles-for-getting-the-right-data-at-the-right-time

I’d like to hear what others think on this topic.
